The Right Fit
- The site has real technical issues. Slow load times, broken crawl paths, thin or duplicate content, no consistent internal linking.
- There is little to no backlink profile, and competitors are outranking a better product or service.
- Nothing has been touched in over a year and rankings have quietly slipped.
- The goal is a technical and content foundation strong enough to drive AEO and GEO results too, not just a ranking bump on its own.
What’s Included
Technical SEO Audit and Fixes
Crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile friendliness, and structured data. This is the checklist that determines whether Google can find and trust your pages at all. On one client site we found two versions of the homepage indexed separately, splitting the authority on the single most valuable URL on the domain. That kind of thing does not show up in a content review.
Keyword and Content Cluster Architecture
Topic clusters and internal linking built around what your buyers actually search, not a generic keyword list. Pages that support each other around one subject give a search engine and a model a much clearer picture of what a site is an authority on than the same number of unrelated posts would.
On Page Optimization
Titles, meta descriptions, headings, and schema markup tuned for both rankings and click through rate. Worth more than it sounds. We took one client page from a 60 character title to 52 so the word buyers were actually searching stopped truncating in the result. The page had been sitting at position 7 with zero clicks across 306 impressions.
Authority and Backlink Strategy
Link worthy assets and outreach that build the domain authority Google, and every AI engine trained on the web, weighs heavily.
AI Overview Readiness
Ranking well is no longer enough on its own. A March 2026 Ahrefs analysis of 863,000 keyword SERPs found the correlation between a top 10 ranking and an AI Overview citation has dropped to 38%, down from 76% a year earlier. So we build pages to answer completely, not just to rank.
How This Gets Built
- Audit. Crawl the whole site and flag every technical blocker in priority order.
- Architecture. Map the site into a pillar and cluster structure instead of scattered pages.
- Rewrite. Bring every page up to the on page standard, one cluster at a time.
- Authority. Build the backlink and mention profile that makes the whole structure trusted.
- Recheck. Re audit on a fixed cadence so technical drift gets caught before it costs rankings.
Why SEO Still Drives Revenue
Search is still where buyers start and where they decide. Each figure below is labeled with what kind of number it is, because a survey, a click study, and a client result are not the same evidence.
Sources: StatCounter, Backlinko study of Google search results, NP Digital analysis of 60 client campaigns, and that client’s own Race Roster account. Two numbers came off this page in the September 2026 review: a 53% organic traffic figure measured in 2019, and a nearby search purchase stat with no traceable primary source. Old numbers do not get to sit on a page about how search changed.
A Client Build, Measured
We designed and built the race site from scratch as a content hub. Every figure below is a client result, pulled from that client’s own Google Search Console and Race Roster accounts, covering June 9 to September 8, 2026.
The race also surfaces in answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity when people ask which marathons to run near St. Petersburg or Tampa. That one is an internal observation from our own prompt testing, not a metric any platform reports.
Over the same window, registration pace ran 540% ahead of the four months before the work, with the launch week burst stripped out of the math. We report that as correlation and nothing more. Pricing, email, and the race’s own community move registrations too, so we are not going to tell you search alone produced them.

Good SEO Is Not Permanent. It Is Contested.
Ranking well today does not mean you rank well next quarter. A smaller competitor with a sharper technical foundation can outrank you no matter how established you are. A bigger competitor with a messier, slower site is just as beatable if your foundation is stronger.
Every week your foundation lags, someone else is claiming the rankings and citations that should be yours.

FAQ
I already rank fine. Why would I need this?
Rankings are not permanent. A competitor investing in a stronger technical foundation right now will pass a site that is coasting on an old ranking, no matter how established the brand is.
Does SEO still matter with AI search growing?
More than ever. Google remains the largest single source of buyer intent traffic, and it is the technical foundation AEO and GEO depend on. A page that is not crawlable or well structured will not get cited or recommended by an AI engine either.
How long does SEO take to show results?
Technical fixes can affect indexing within days. Ranking movement on competitive terms usually takes 3 to 6 months. For a concrete shape of that curve, the client build above went from a standing start to 615 ranked keywords over a 90 day window, with impressions up 680% comparing the first 30 days to the most recent 30. That is one site in one category, not a promise about yours.
What if I already rank well but never show up in AI Overviews?
Common gap, and it widened fast. Ahrefs found only about 38% of AI Overview citations now come from top 10 pages, down from 76% a year earlier, because citation depends more on how completely a page answers a question than on rank alone. We rebuild pages to close that gap directly.
Do you build content clusters as part of SEO?
Yes, it is core to how we structure every engagement. You will see agencies quote a specific multiplier for how much faster clusters rank. We have not found a credible study behind those numbers, so we do not repeat them. What we can show you is a site we structured this way: 615 ranked keywords across 72 pages, with 36% of them on page one.
How do you report progress?
Every engagement starts with a documented technical and ranking baseline. Monthly reporting then tracks rankings and traffic alongside the numbers that actually pay for the work: leads, calls, and AI citations on the exact questions your buyers ask. Every figure we report is labeled by what kind of number it is, the same way the ones on this page are.
Do you offer SEO on its own, without AEO or GEO?
We build the technical foundation as one system because it is more efficient and it is what works, but SEO is where every engagement starts.
